In addition to my education, there are many stones on my current path.

Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Graduate Degree in Holistic Nutrition - I chose not to become a dietitian when I learned that the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) was sponsored by M&M/Mars, Sara Lee, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, etc.

Certification by the NutriGenetic Research Institute, where I am a practitioner and researcher

Certification as a Health Coach

Certified Labor/Birth Doula

Apprentice to homebirth midwife - I was drawn to become a doula and to apprentice with a midwife due to the awe I felt after attending a birth. Our bodies were designed to heal themselves and to procreate, and if we give our bodies the tools they need, they will do all the amazing things they were designed to do.

During the 5 years of apprenticing, I attended over 100 births, learned about herbs, and addressed healthier eating habits to provide relief to children with allergies, food sensitivities and attention disorders.

It was also during this time that I found my passion for preconception and prenatal wellness. I provided nutritional counseling to couples experiencing infertility and repeat miscarriages, offered preconception, prenatal and postnatal education and nutrition consulting,

Certified Yoga Instructor

Certified Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga Instructor

PBi Trained Placenta Encapsulation Specialist

Fertility Optimization Practitioner - Hormonal balance and fertility optimization are greatly affected by nutritional status/diet, lifestyle, and genetics. Epigenetics and nutrigenomics are quickly becoming the prominent factor in personalized care in both the alternative/holistic care and Western medical (and pharmaceutical) models. It is a field rapidly growing by leaps and bounds each month, and I am closely following the ever-flowing latest research.
